Introduce your 5-8 year old to a mini-musical! This is a fun and exciting class for all experience levels where students will work on the basics of vocal training and choreography in a positive and fast-paced environment. Students who wish to will receive a part in a musical with spoken and singing lines. Students may also take part in this class as part of the musical’s ensemble. In April 2026 they will perform in a 30-minute Kids show. This class will also perform in the Winter Show in November 2026 and the Year End Recital in June 2027.

All experience levels are welcome. This class is a fun and fast paced program that focuses on developing theatre skills, gaining confidence on stage, and working as a team. In this class we work towards a year end production of a one hour musical to be performed at the ACT in May 2027.

Students will be required to miss 2 days of school for this production. Every student in the class will be cast in a full scale Junior Musical after taking part in a ‘mock audition’ which teaches them the art of the audition process. This class will also perform in the Winter Show in November 2026 and the Year End Recital in June 2027.

Throughout the season, students will work towards a fully staged one-hour Junior Musical, performed at Riverside Community Church in April 2027. Each performer will be cast in the production after participating in a “mock audition,” giving students the opportunity to learn and experience the audition process in a positive and encouraging setting.

This class is designed for those who have a strong passion for musical theatre and are fully dedicated to their craft. Students will be challenged in all areas of singing, acting, and dancing are expected to have full commitment to the program. Students will work with an Acting Coach, a Music Director, and a Choreographer on a weekly basis.

This class will perform in a year end musical in May 2027, as well as the Winter Show in November 2026 and the Year End Recital in June 2027.
