All tuition costs below include taxes and all fees such as production costs, costume rental, scripts, music, etc. 

Added costs: $25 non-refundable registration fee

Winter Musical 2019 - FROZEN Jr.!

Open registration for our Winter Production of Frozen Jr. All students are welcome to register regardless of experience level. Featured Performers ages 10-18+ will audition for roles. Limited spots.

4 performances at The ACT in November including 2 school matinees* and 2 evening performances as well as an Encore number in the Winter Recital! 

Rehearsals are on Saturdays from September 28th to November 9th, 2019 

Mini Snowgies (Chorus)  = Ages 5-7 - Saturdays 1:00-2:30pm ($345) 

Junior Snowgies (Chorus) = Ages 8-9 - Saturdays 2:00-3:30pm ($345)

Frozen Starz = Ages 10-18+ - Saturdays 12:00-3:30pm ($515)

 

Price includes: All production fees including scripts, music, costume rental, props, theatre time, sets, rehearsals/classes, digital video of performance, photos and applicable tax.  

*Students are required to miss 2 afternoons of school

Chorustars - Ages 5-7

Description: This class teaches the basics of singing and dancing with beginner choreography and fun vocal warm ups. This group of students will perform 2-4 numbers in the Winter Recital in November 2019 as well as the StageStars year end production TBA at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2020.

Fridays 4:30-5:30pm

*Students are required to miss 1 day of school

Classes run September 13th, 2019 to April 26, 2020

$670/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $83.75

Minis - Ages 5 & 6

An introduction to the basics of Musical Theatre with singing, acting and dancing. Every student will be cast as chorus in the Junior’s year end production TBA at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2020 as well as perform 3-4 songs in the Winter Recital in November 2019. 

 *Students are required to miss 1 day of school.

 

4 different time/day options: 

Minis A - Mondays         3:45-4:45pm

Minis B - Tuesdays         3:45-4:45pm

Minis C - Wednesdays   3:45-4:45pm

Minis D - Fridays             3:30-4:30pm

Classes run from the week of September 9th, 2019 to April 2020

Kids - Ages 7 & 8

A fun and structured class aimed at learning the fundamentals of Musical Theatre with choreography, acting exercises and vocal training. Every student will be cast as chorus in the Junior’s year end production TBA at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2020. The students will also perform 3-4 songs in the November 2019 Winter Recital. 

*Students are required to miss 1 day of school.

KIDS D - Tuesdays       6:00-7:00pm

Stagestars - Ages 7-9

Students must have completed 1 Production with Showstoppers to enroll in StageStars (no new students accepted). This class is for advanced and dedicated students who are too young to move up to Juniors but are ready for more of a challenge. Students are accepted by Director’s approval. Students must be committed to all rehearsals as well as home work/practice. Each student will be cast in the StageStars musical production TBA which will be performed at The ACT Theatre in April 2020. Students will also perform 3-4 songs in the November 2019 Winter Recital. 

 

Thursdays - 615-715pm (Dance Technique - required extra class) Sept-December

Fridays 4:00-5:30pm (Rehearsals) September-April 

Class requirements:

– must be between the ages of 7-9

– must have completed 1 Showstoppers Production

– students are required to take Broadway Dance Tech (not included in price, extra cost $225)

 

Classes run from September 13th, 2019 to April 2020

Cost: $820/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $102.50

Juniors - Ages 9-11

All experience levels welcome. This class requires commitment, dedication and hard work. Focusing on vocal technique, choreography and acting skills we work toward the year end production TBA to be performed at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2020. Every student will be cast in the full scale musical production, after they take part in a “mock audition” which teaches them the art of the audition process. Students are also required to perform in the November 2019 Winter Recital. 

 

4 different time/day options: 

Juniors A - Mondays         3:30-5:30pm

Juniors B - Tuesdays         3:30-5:30pm

Juniors C - Wednesdays   3:30-5:30pm

Juniors D - Tuesdays         5:30-7:30pm

Youngstars - Ages 7-13

All experience levels welcome. This class is a high energy, fast paced class aimed toward building skills in the art of Musical Theatre. Singing, acting and dancing. Becoming a Triple Threat. Less commitment than the StageStars, Juniors and Seniors classes but with all the fun and stage time/experience. Students will be chorus in the Seniors year end production TBA at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in May 2020 as well as perform in a Winter Recital in November 2019. 

2 different time options: 

Youngstars A - Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm

Youngstars B - Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm

 

*Students are required to miss 1 day of school

Classes run September 12th, 2019 to May 2020

Cost: $733.50/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $81.50

Seniors - Ages 12+

All skills levels accepted. This class is for dedicated performers who are up to the challenge of putting together a full scale musical production TBA to be performed at The ACT Theatre in May 2020 with sets, costumes and props. Must have full commitment (some exceptions may be made by the Director). Each student will be cast as a character in the show after they audition for their roles at the start of the year. This class focuses on vocal technique, choreography, character work/acting skills and team work. Students will also perform in a Winter Recital in November 2019.

 

2 different time options: 

Seniors A - Thursdays 3:30-5:45pm

Seniors B - Thursdays 5:45-8:00pm

*Students are required to miss 2 days of school

Classes run from September 12th, 2019 to May 2020

Cost: $1,080/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $120

Master Class - Ages 11-18

**CLASS IS FULL & REGISTRATION FOR MASTERS IS CLOSED** (May 29, 2019)

One must audition to be accepted into the Masters Program. When registering please fill out the form twice - once for Masters and once for a backup class. 

This class is designed for those who have a strong passion for Musical Theatre and have full dedication to their craft. All applicants will participate in an audition process to be accepted into the program. Once accepted students are expected to have full commitment to rehearsals. Students will work with a Vocal Coach, Acting Coach and professional Choreographer on a weekly basis. Students will perform in the Winter Recital in November 2019 as well as a year end Musical in May 2020. Students must sign up for their back up class at the same time as registering for Masters in the event the student does not make it into the program.

 

Master Class - Wednesdays 5:30-8:30pm

Class requirements:

– must be between the ages of 11-18

– must be a past Showstoppers student (1-2 years experience)

- students must be accepted into the program after the audition process by a guest adjudicator 

– students are required to take one full session of Choreo Bootcamp

(cost not included in price)

- Masters class has a No Withdrawal Policy effective the 1st day of class

Classes run from September 11th, 2019 to May 2020

Cost: $1575/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $175

Note: When registering for this class you must also fill out the form for a "back-up class"

Acting Out - Ages 8-13

A fun and energetic class based around the fundamentals of theatre – scene work, acting games, improv, stage presence and confidence. This exciting class is designed for all skill levels. Students will perform a Studio Showcase for parents and friends at the end of the season. 

 

Mondays 6:00-7:00pm

Classes run from September 9th, 2019 to March 2020

Cost: $511/season (includes taxes and production fees)

Payment option = Monthly at $73

Broadway Dance

This structured dance class will give students a variety of dance techniques which will help them build their skill level and provide them with confidence when picking up choreography. Students will work on all different types of dance.

Thursdays 6:15-7:15pm (September-December)

Classes run from September 2019 to December 2019

Cost: $225/season (this is a half season class running Sept-Dec.)

Drop in accepted: $15/class

Choreo Bootcamp - Ages 11-18

This class is designed for those who wish to take dance training to a new level. Taught by a wonderful collection of talented guest instructors/performers. Students will develop their bodies and minds to learn choreography quickly while learning a broad variety of dance technique and understanding. All skill levels are welcome.

Session dates:

Fall session  with Miss Ali Watson, Mr. Bobby Callahan and Mr. Ryan Nunez: 

Sept. 27, Oct 4, Oct 11, Oct 18, Nov 1, Nov 8, Nov 22, Nov 29, Dec 6 and Dec 13th 

Spring session = TBA

Private Vocal Lessons - Ages 6 and up

Private vocal coaching by Miss Natasha Kozak (September 2019 – April 2020) for ages 6 and up.

Mondays - 3:00-7:00pm

Wednesdays - 3:00-8:30pm

Thursdays - 3:00-8:00pm

30 minute weekly sessions.

Cost – $38.50/session.

You must commit to the full season - week of September 9th to April.

24 hours notice is needed to cancel a lesson.

Private Acting Lessons

​Private coaching (September 2019 – April 2020) for ages 6 and up with Mr. Nicholas Bradbury. One on one coaching for Film and TV or Stage performance. Breakdown the fundamentals, work on presence for stage and film auditions, script work, character development, do and don'ts in the industry and much more. All lessons are tailored to the individual child and what they strive to improve on. 

Mondays or Wednesdays

30 or 45 minute weekly sessions.
