Open registration for our Winter Production of Moana Jr. All students are welcome to register regardless of experience level. Moana Starz ages 10-18+ will audition for roles. Limited spots.
2 performances at The ACT in February 2021.
Rehearsals are on Saturdays from November 28th, 2020 to January 30th, 2021
Moana Minis (Chorus) = Ages 5-7 - Saturdays 12:45-2pm ($350)
Moana Kids (Chorus) = Ages 8-9 - Saturdays 2:15-3:30pm ($350)
Moana Starz Cast A = Ages 10-18+ - Saturdays 12:00-3:15pm ($525)

Chorustars - Ages 5-7
Description: This class teaches the basics of singing and dancing with beginner choreography and fun vocal warm ups. This group of students will perform 2-4 numbers in the Studio Winter Recital in November 2020 as well as the StageStars year end production of Madagascar Jr. at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2021.

Minis - Ages 5 & 6
An introduction to the basics of Musical Theatre with singing, acting and dancing. Every student will be cast as chorus in the Junior’s year end production of Madagascar Jr. at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2021 as well as perform 3-4 songs in the Studio Winter Recital in November 2020.

Kids - Ages 7 & 8
A fun and structured class aimed at learning the fundamentals of Musical Theatre with choreography, acting exercises and vocal training. Every student will be cast as chorus in the Junior’s year end production of Madagascar Jr. at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2021. The students will also perform 3-4 songs in the November 2020 Studio Winter Recital.

Stagestars - Ages 7-9
Students must have completed 1 Production with Showstoppers to enroll in StageStars (no new students accepted). This class is for advanced and dedicated students who are too young to move up to Juniors but are ready for more of a challenge. Students are accepted by Director’s approval. Students must be committed to all rehearsals as well as home work/practice. Each student will be cast in the StageStars musical production of Madagascar Jr. which will be performed at The ACT Theatre in April 2021. Students will also perform 3-4 songs in the November 2020 Studio Winter Recital.
Thursdays - 615-715pm (Dance Technique - required extra class) Jan-April

Juniors - Ages 9-11
All experience levels welcome. This class requires commitment, dedication and hard work. Focusing on vocal technique, choreography and acting skills we work toward the year end production of Madagascar Jr. to be performed at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in April 2021. Every student will be cast in the full scale musical production, after they take part in a “mock audition” which teaches them the art of the audition process. Students are also required to perform in the November 2020 Studio Winter Recital.

Youngstars - Ages 7-13
All experience levels welcome. This class is a high energy, fast paced class aimed toward building skills in the art of Musical Theatre. Singing, acting and dancing. Becoming a Triple Threat. Less commitment than the StageStars, Juniors and Seniors classes but with all the fun and stage time/experience. Students will be chorus in the Seniors year end production of Mary Poppins Jr. at The ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge in May 2021 as well as perform in a Studio Winter Recital in November 2020.

Seniors - Ages 12+
All skills levels accepted. This class is for dedicated performers who are up to the challenge of putting together a full scale musical production of Mary Poppins Jr. to be performed at The ACT Theatre in May 2021 with sets, costumes and props. Must have full commitment (some exceptions may be made by the Director). Each student will be cast as a character in the show after they audition for their roles at the start of the year. This class focuses on vocal technique, choreography, character work/acting skills and team work. Students will also perform in a Studio Winter Recital in November 2020.

Master Class - Ages 11-18
One must audition to be accepted into the Masters Program. When registering please fill out the form twice - once for Masters and once for a backup class.
This class is designed for those who have a strong passion for Musical Theatre and have full dedication to their craft. All applicants will participate in an audition process to be accepted into the program. Once accepted students are expected to have full commitment to rehearsals. Students will work with a Vocal Coach, Acting Coach and Choreographer on a weekly basis. Students will perform in the Studio Winter Recital in November 2020 as well as a year end Musical in May 2021 of Matilda!
Students must sign up for their back up class at the same time as registering for Masters in the event the student does not make it into the program.
Master Class - Wednesdays 5:30-8:15pm
Class requirements:
– must be between the ages of 11-18
– must be a past Showstoppers student (1-2 years experience)
- students must be accepted into the program after the audition process by a guest adjudicator
– students are required to take one full session of Choreo Bootcamp
(cost not included in price)
- Masters class has a No Withdrawal Policy effective the 1st day of class

Dance Technique
This structured dance class will give students a variety of dance techniques which will help them build their skill level and provide them with confidence when picking up choreography. Students will work on all different types of dance.
Thursdays 6:15-7:15pm (September-December)
Classes run from September 2020 to December 2020
Cost: $225/season (this is a half season class running Sept-Dec.)

Choreo Bootcamp - Ages 11-18
This class is designed for those who wish to take dance training to a new level. Taught by a wonderful collection of talented guest instructors/performers. Students will develop their bodies and minds to learn choreography quickly while learning a broad variety of dance technique and understanding. All skill levels are welcome.

Private Vocal Lessons - Ages 6 and up
Private vocal coaching by Miss Natasha Kozak (September 2020 – April 2021) for ages 6 and up are available in person or over Zoom. Contact us for available days/times.

Private Acting Lessons
Private coaching (September 2020 – April 2021) for ages 6 and up with Mr. Nicholas Bradbury. One on one coaching for Film and TV or Stage performance. Breakdown the fundamentals, work on presence for stage and film auditions, script work, character development, do and don'ts in the industry and much more. All lessons are tailored to the individual child and what they strive to improve on.
